Berklee grad nabs residency at Beverly eatery

For young musicians, landing a steady, paid gig can be one of the first big steps towards a dream come true. For 2015 Berklee College of Music graduate Kat Kennedy, that step will take place every first Thursday of each month from 8 to 10 p.m., as she has secured a music residency at Toscana's Bar Italiano, 90 Rantoul St., Beverly.Kennedy is a guitar-playing singer-songwriter originally from Connecticut, now living in Boston.
